ENUGU LG. ELECTIONS: AWGU SOUTH REP. IN ENSHA CONGRATULATES AWGU LGA MAYOR ON HIS RE-ELECTION, LAUDS GOV. UGWUANYI FOR THE SUCCESS OF THE POLLS

 


CONGRATULATORY MESSAGE BY HON. JOHNSON O. CHUKWUOBASI

First, I congratulate the Governor, and the government of Enugu state for having successfully conducted elections into local government council positions across the state for the 3rd consecutive times since the emergence of this administration in 2015, not minding the enormous resources required to conduct state wide elections. Unwilling administrations quickly cites Paucity of fund as excuse to governments who are unwilling to ply the normal route. Thereby denying our people the right to choose their own leaders by themselves. But Governor Ugwuanyi has shown consistency and should be commended for this.

I hereby congratulate Hon. Pedro Okwudili Nwankwo (Eze-ome-ogo),  chairman elect  of Awgu local government council and all the councilors elect in just concluded Chairmanship/councilorship election across our state.

I pray that God will direct your path as you pilot the affairs of our local government in the next two years.

I also thank the good people of Awgu and our great party PDP for their vote and support. I'm confident that Eze-ome-ogo will not take your support for granted.
